UPDATED: Cross-country trip - important dates

I'm about to head to the Bali airport, but wanted to make one more blog update with some important changes to my upcoming USA road trip.

I've decided to cut out the western half of my road trip for a couple of reasons: I'm getting travel-weary, and need some time off, and I need some time to plan the eastern half of the trip, more than just two days' worth. I also decided to swap the Chicago and Traverse City parts of my trip after talking with folks who are going to be in Chicago that weekend.

So here's the revised dates:

• Sun 5/8 (?) - Meet up with parents in Atlanta, GA or Asheville, NC area (need to confirm with them)
• Thu 5/12 - Arrive in DC area (possibly a day sooner or a day later depending on what parents want to do -- hiking in Appalachians vs. sightseeing in DC)
• Sun 5/15 - Drive from DC to Ken & Tracy's place between DC and NYC, crash there
• Mon 5/16 - Arrive in NYC that morning
• Wed 5/18 - Drive from NYC to Boston
• Fri 5/20 - Drive from Boston to Chicago, IL, arrive late at night (14 hr drive)
• Mon 5/23 - Leave Chicago for Traverse City, MI early morning, arrive early afternoon
• Wed 5/25 - Leave Traverse City and head west
• Fri 5/27 - Arrive back in Portland

I'll be back in Portland this Friday night (5/29) around 6 pm.
